I have been waiting to display this post for a while until Tim had made all the right phone calls and touched base with a few people. I (we) didn't want anyone to find out accidentally about the big news. So, apologies for the delay in updating the blog.
It is official! Tim has been offered and has accepted the District Manager position for Northern California, Nevada and Utah. We will soon, and I mean this literally, be moving to Northern California. The District/Regional Office is located in Pleasant Hill CA, which is about forty minutes outside of San Fransisco. We hope to find a place near there.
The Badberg house has been abuzz with all the excitement. We are so proud of Big Daddy! This is a fantastic promotion for him and a great opportunity for our family.
Tim is in California this week. He will return to Utah Friday. Then all three of us will fly to Northern CA to scope out temporary accommodations, look at some areas around Pleasant Hill and hopefully do a little sightseeing. Gracie understands this as a big long vacation. She isn't quite clear on the permanency. She just wants to get to San Francisco to see the Golden Gate Bridge and ride on a 'Charley'.
Wish I were five and didn't quite understand it all!
